- Tasting Notes
A background application of wood sets off gently earthy aromas of mostly dark berry fruit. There is fine detail and plenty of punch to the lightly mineral-inflected and well-concentrated flavors that conclude in a slightly drying finish. This is one of those wines where the balance isn’t perfect yet there is very good depth and length.

The 2013 Savigny les Beaune la Dominodes has a muted, tertiary nose that I feel was compromised by the hail. The palate is spiky on the entry with a prickle of acidity. It does not quite have the harmony of Brunos other 2013s, although there is still freshness and vitality here. It is just that the finish feels a little austere.
