- Tasting Notes
Coming from mature vines located higher on the propertys slopes, the 2015 Chateau Grillet is a rich, intense, full-bodied wine of uncommon grace and elegance. It delivers some of Viogniers hallmark floral-spicy-apricot notes but is actually more about textural richness and silk, balanced by hints of citrus zest and a briny character that lingers effortlessly on the finish.

This is gorgeous, featuring persimmon, quince, yellow apple, melon and pear flavors that are rich yet finely detailed, with flashes of almond, acacia and jasmine oil through the finish. Has the richness of the vintage, but there is an inner purity here that sets this apart. Only available for sale in restaurants. Drink now through 2023.
