- Tasting Notes
As it almost always is this is the best of the three regional bottlings in the Roty range with its spicy red and black cherry aromas that reflect hints of wood and spice. There is excellent volume and concentration to the delicious medium-bodied flavors where the supporting tannins are a bit firmer and it’s clear that this is a Bourgogne that is built-to-age. Good stuff and worth considering in the context of the genre.

The 2014 Bourgogne les Pressoniers, from declassified Marsannay fruit, has a perfumed nose with quite high-toned blackberry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red and black fruit, a touch of salinity on the mouth with a crisp, quite punchy finish that is a delight.
